like if u go away to college do most ppl get jobs there freshman year? and if they don't, when do they?

They do if they're not being supported completely. What else would they do? Ideally it would be nice if they didn't have to AND they had a full course load. If they don't, I believe they should be working at least some.

I've not had a job during my college experience, and because of that I am able to graduate in three years; and no my parents aren't "rich crooks", we just took out loans for more than the amount of tuition.

I agree most freshman would have to get jobs to survive. Or even pay for school. But if your a rich spoiled kid and mommy and daddy are still giving ya a free ride, the least you can do is take advantage of it and use your time studying.

Well, when I was in college most people did (just a few years ago). Most people are poor when they are in college. But maybe your rich and don't need to?

Yes, most colleges have jobs. Ask to speak with the Student Services Department and they will connect you to the correct person with whom to speak.
Some schools even match your earnings and put it towards your tuition.
