he will still get it, i think. he just wasn't allowed to be present at the awarding ceremonies because of the red card ban.

Zidane is not allowed back on the playing field after beng sent off. So he would have been miffed if they had won the World Cup and not being able to collect it. He will get his medal at some stage not that he will want it.

coz the rules say that if you are sent out during a march then you are not to come back into the stadium at any aone time so there is no way he would have been given the medal even if they would have won the world cup he still would have not been allowed to come out

He will receive the second place medal. He just didn't make an appearance...probably a smart thing to do since he would have probably been mobbed by media and whomever else could get their hands on him!

He could not be part of the ceremony because he was sent off. His own fault for his reprehensible red card.
