which is the best slide show program for Mac ?

does anybody know what is the best slideshow program for Mac that can write CD, SVCD DVD and play on a DVD player ? (and it won't cost too much !)

Agreed. iPhoto does it all, and it does it all better than most similar programs that I've seen, and I've used a few of them, namely picasa and adobe photoshop elements. It comes as a part of iLife, which is a great software suite altogether.

macs come with a built-in slide show program in iphoto, and you can burn it to a cd. go to iphoto > preferences and set it up, then you can burn a disk using the file tab.
