1) The router they gave me doesn't have enough ports. More of an inconvenience, but I didn't want to have to buy another peice of gear for this.

2) Occasionally, my internet freaks out. When that happens, obvioiusly the phone goes out too. So I can't call my ISP, I can't visit their internet site, and my cell phone doesn't work within a two block radius of my house.

So far, I haven't had an outage that I couldn't fix (or doesn't fix itself), but if I do it will be a real pain getting it back up and running again. Makes me a little uncomfortable.

Still, I save enough money with Vonage to justify it.
