I`m not sure, now that you`ve mentioned it, I usually try not to sleep on my back due to that strangling demon "acid reflux" lol.but I might try it now just to see if that is a fact, because I dislike when I can`t remember certain dreamsthat i have.

No I remember them when I wake up in any position and I seem to have the rather (from what I hear) uncommon ability to go back to sleep into the same dream.

Most of the time, yeah I can remember dreams. The real vivid ones the one's that are the longest. Doesn't matter, either on my back or side, just a matter of seratonin and how deprived you are from sleep. Sometimes they're not dreams though.

sleeping positioin has nothng to do with it. People remember their dreams better if they wake during a REM sleep cycle because that is when they are haveing the most vivid dreams. If you are awoken during other cycles of sleep, you are much less likely to remember the dreams

Interesting question. It might be that you aren't reaching a very deep sleep..because we only recall our dreams when we wake from a shallow sleep.
Perhaps sleeping on your back is causing you to have a less deep sleep?

It depends what state of sleep you are in your dreams are is your brain solving 'problems' or sorting thorugh things in your head some you remember some you don't.
I don't recall only remembering them if i wake up on my back though, any postion really.

I have been dreaming a lot lately and until you asked this I never gave it thought but I was on my back when I woke up. I'll have to be more aware and see if it happens again. Thanks.

If you are on your back, the dreams pool up in the back of your brain, whereas if you sleep on your side they leak out through your ears.
