Not only good, it is mandatory.
If political field is clean no evil can penetrate in the society.
An across the board accountability can only ensure it.
Double standards and hypocrisy are the biggest evils in today's politics. These are the mothers of lot many evils of today's society.

No political correctness is only when one person has an idea they think is correct for everyone else and in our government uses every means to make that so.
Our government or Our country were not meant to function in that manner.
Look around you,around the world,HOWS it working?
Problem being YOU can always find a FOOL to follow a bad idea.

there is only correctness and error. Political correctness is an oxymoron. It is another name for censorship. Before political correctness, there was a thing called common decency. It made a lot more sense than morality dictated by the state, which is a soulless, amoral, intangible thing.

I think 99% of the time when someone uses the term "politically correct" they are only trying to duck discussing real issues and hope to dismiss the other person's arguments.

It may have been at one time, but it is often overplayed for all the wrong reasons lately. It has become a tool of the mass media, misguided politicians, and ineffective school systems (just to name a few).

worse. It's too easy to offend people and as a result things that may need to be said will not be said becasue some one does't want offend someone else, and the flip side of that coin is that things that shouldn't be said will spead like wildfire cause it sounds,cute, funnny or non offensive.
