I know little about current events or politics, but I keep seeing headlines about North Korea and bombs. Should I be worried?

If you live in South Korea or in Japan, then you should be worried. But USA is far away and perhaps only Los Angeles and Honolulu are within reach of North Korean rockets.

If you say you should be worried because North Korea doesn't listen, then you should understand why they want nukes...
Bush told the world that he won't listen.
Nukes are the only way a country can insure that it will be safe from the US-- we won't invade because of it.
So you shouldn't be worried, because North Korea is trying to protect itself.

I believe so, yes... maybe not this year or next year, but it will be soon. And Kim Jong-Il is a power-hungry mad-man who is having a contest of wills with Bush, daring Bush to do something to piss him off. He's trying to prove he has the means of delivery for nuclear war and I just hope the powers that be are taking him seriously since most of our troops are over fighting a war. Ugh.

yes, since the day nuclear bombs were invented the world will end now any day also, just as it did the last two times on happy 6/6/06 day, this alarmist crap is almost as old as prostitution

Yes, they have proved that they don't care what the world thinks and if pressure from the US or the world continues they could act out with a nuclear attack.

No you shouldn't be worried....
Its really a way to distract us and keep us in fear....Media and govt. have always done this. Its an alarmist mentality and don't believe everything you hear. Its done with a purpose, to keep us fearful and controlled, so don't succumb to it. I am not saying to be careless, just don't believe everything you read or hear. There will always be something to fear, just dont let it control your life, live in the now...
