I normally speak to someone else about it. Get a perspective on things. Or simply pray. Usually it helps to take a walk, take a deep breath & calm your nerves before thinking of the next best thing to do.

I tend to wait things out until I have more information. Seems like stuff sort of works itself out if given enough time, or I get new info that helps me to make the right decision.

Just by praying to Allah the Al Mighty. He is the only one who can give you hope and courage in the difficulty that you are in. And also through praying to Him you come up to decisions and solutions that you never thought of..
So please pray to Allah all the time, He is the one who can guide us

I try to be calm but if some one tries me I prefer to get mad.I try to be rational and behave sensibly.And keep unnecessary worries away.

put the monkey (read the difficult situation) on someone else' head.
To me difficulties are monkeys on my head and my simple mantra is "don't keep monkeys on your head, push it on to someone else' head".
