I was under the impression that Audi is pronounced as follows :
Ow (As in "that hurt") Dee

In the U.S. its ow-dee. I dont like awww dee. but if thats how the germans say it then ok

On their commercial in the US it's pronounced "Ow-dee".
Ow - like you hurt yourself and then dee.
