We have been trying to get pregnant now for a few months, but month after month still no luck, i had a I.U.D. for 5 years and had it removed earlier this year, (the pap smear came back normal) but i don't stay asleep long enough during the nights to get an acurrate basal temp test chart made up, i wake up several times during the night and early morning and toss and turn so i am not sure if that will effect the "resting temp" i am looking for. my period last month was on the 19th and now it just started this month on the 9th (the months before i didn't write them down) is there any one who could give me some advice on anything to help me out? or anything that maybe i should look into? i am not sure just help!...it is very frustrating and even more disapointing when you start your period, AGAIN! thanks

If you had a hormone-treated IUD (the Mirena, for example), that could throw your fertility off for up to a year after it is removed. Very rarely, hormonal birth control can cause permanent infertility.
I would suggest you take your BBT even if you do sleep restlessly. As long as you aren't *getting out* of bed or doing anything active (exercise, for example), you *may* get an accurate reading. Some women do and some don't; mine always worked fine that way (when I woke up several times a night to nurse my baby, for instance). The only way to know is to try.
In addition, chart your cervical fluid. If you don't know how to do this, then please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It explains it in a lot of detail.

go to the supermarket to Buy some ladies finger vegetable and tomatoes. put these two vegetable into the fruit mixer, once u get a cup full, then add a small tea spoon of sugar and mix it up.
drink it 3X a day after each meal. i assure u that every following nights when u ejaculate; you'll have a full load of COM, and really makes u feel so good and relax, and u wont get real tired each time after sex...
Believe me, this is the normal healthy way instead of taking medication. So, just try it for a week and u'll see the changes in results

Relax, enjoy your sexlife with your significant other, and pray. I got pregnant after 4 months with both of my boys, and pregnant within 4 weeks with my daughter. RELAX!!!!! If months and months go by, then I would be concerned and see a doctor. I know your period is disappointing.. I felt the same way, and now have 3 grown children. Hang in there honey and PRAY.

after you get off of birth controll it can take up to 1 year in some cases before you can get pregnant--and with being on it for 5years that may be a possibility--sorry but true--relax hun everything happens when and if it is suppose to you can not force things it will be ok

I think you just need to relax and get rid of the charts and all that crap and let nature take its course. I found that when I got pregnant with all three of my children it happened the day after I stopped my period. it worked for me.

ok, this is what i would do... you said you started your period on the 9th. count 10-12 days starting the first day of your period. have sex on the 10th, 11th, and the 12th day. that is usually when your ovulate. after sex don't get up if its possible. i hope i didn't confuse you. good luck and best wishes!!

Don't worry all you need to do is consult your gynecologist. they will perform some examinations and tests and will find out the main cause and its solution.
