One day I was in line waiting for my truck to get checked at the DMV when I saw a woman a few cars ahead of me that looked like she was trying not to cry. I watched her and wondered what I could do. Finally, I got an idea.

I wrote out a check and walked over to her car. I got her to roll down her window and handed her the check. She looked bewildered but I said, "Here" and walked back to my truck. When I looked ahead, I saw her crying and she mouthed "thank you" in her rear view mirror.

I had written the check out to "fellow citizen" for "one Hug" and signed it.

I once gave 6 thousand dollars to my sister because she was self conscious about her body. I felt that I would do anything to help someone out even if it were just a breast augmentation.

i am a faithful friend. I take the time to listen and pray with my friends. We see God answer prayer many times. Sharing my time with those in need is one way that I show kindness to others.

i've completely forgiven someone for something horrible they did to me. that may not sound that big, but i am not a forgiving person and it was one of the hardest things i've ever had to do. usually when someone crosses the line with me i just dismiss them from my life. it took some time to forgive, but i did it.
