It is safe to have sex when you are pregnant so do not worry. It also will not hurt the baby as the baby is well protected. If at any time the doctor wishes for you to stop having sex, he will tell you. Most women can have sex up until the time they deliver.
As for type, whatever is comfortable for you and that will probably have to be adapted/changed as you progress in your pregnancy.

Sex in the second trimester can be most pleasurable.
In the third trimester, your own physical changes may literally get between you and your partner. So find the right position that is comfortable.
Sex during pregnancy is completely natural and safe. However, all pregnancies progress differently, and you should check with your doctor beforehand.

my mom told me that when your pregnant its good to have sex. I would double check on that though. Congrats!
