No one knows if Lippi is going to leave the National Team: only him will decide in few days.
As for his replacement, Claudio Gentile (Under 21 coach) is the one that may take his place. He is a former player (he won the WC in 1982) and he is coaching the Under 21 National Team for the last six years with excellent results.
Other (latest) names: Donadoni (ex Livorno), Prandelli (Fiorentina), Ranieri (ex Chelsea)

Lippi might stay. He said, "When someone gets to 70 or 68 or 65 they might decide to call it a day. I intend to continue in my work." I hope he's talking about the national team, I'd hate to see him go.
