Why is it still that peole are throwing around racist accusations? I was answering a question when I read someone calling all Italians racist by nature. Well me being Italian I was not to impressed. In fact I am very pissed off. Who else here would like to point out to this guy that by saying that , that he is not himself free of racisim! I just cant believe people can still be so cruel.

Because everyone needs to feel superior to someone else. Unfortunatley you found a guy who feels superior to italians. Ignore people like that... they show their ignorance by opening their mouths and spewing forth such nonsense.
And that is me feeling superior to them. :P

Its a sad fact there are many racist still in the world today and probably always will be. It is bred of ignorance and learned from the home. I may offend some folks by saying this but ive been in homes and heard such things that i have left and not gone back or i have stated my beliefs and was shunned. If any one wants to turn away from me because i dont like racism or accept it or listen it then so be it. We as intelligent people should have no time for it nor should we condone it.

Hmmmm... Racist Italians, Asian Photographers, Stupid People from the South (aka "Rednecks"), It's all a load of major crap. People will act in the manner directed by their upbringing combined with their IQ's, and that is all there is to it. I think it's juvenile, childish, and a clear display of ignorance when people feel the need to put down, degrade, insult, or castigate other people. Grow up folks. Being rude and obnoxious is not respectable, nor is it acceptable. I'm sorry on that someone made you feel insulted. I hope that I have not done the same. Cheers!

Racism, generally is the lovechild of ignorance. Someone who says something like "Italians are all racist" is someone who has been told that by a person of influence. It's cruel and it's hurtful (I'm Polish, believe me I know, lol), but either those people are ignorant and willing to learn, or obstinate and not willing to. With the former, it sometimes takes just talking to say, an Italian and figuring out that they really don't know what's up, and with the latter, it takes a good dose of "ignore the crap out of them." They aren't worth your time.

I would let it go. I get called a racist just because I don't like ILLEGAL immigrants given amnesty. If you go through my questions you will find a question I asked about ILLEGAL immigration, and the first answer I got was someone calling me racist. Go ahead, it's there.

Tell me is it wrong to hate someone that hates other races? I'm not a racist but I hate the fact that there a bunch of inept people out there that don't understand why the world is the way it is but yet they hate other races. How would they feel to be on the other side of the gun?

im sorry it has to happen to you. Truly shocking indeed. But you cant please everybody. The more you get pissed about it, the more you are letting them win. Plus hatred will just cut the years off your natural life. So dont bother. If someone threw a rock at you, maybe its good to throw them bread.

Do not be shocked racism is very common globally look at some thing funny for a moment I am Cherokee Indian from my mothers side of my family and Spaniard from my fathers side so did my ancestors not slaughter one another.

it seems that nobody can get over this problem. it's been going on for years.it must make people feel important or better than someone else. to me, no one is better than anyone else, we are all the same. this is where all the wars start too, people with big mouths that cant shut up and try to get along with everyone. ther's too much CRAP going on all over the world!
