if you have a baby in your belly, do you have to pee more? why or why not?

It doesn't really make the bladder smaller or anything, but because of where the baby and the bladder are placed, the baby is almost on top of the bladder, so almost ANY urine on the bladder feels like a lot, and pregnant women need to pee a lot.

I have a 9 month old baby in my belly right now.
She not only takes up most of the room in my tunny, but is breech and has her feet right on my bladder.
I have to pee even if there is a teaspoon in there.
I have also had the privilage of having her actually pushing on my bladder with her foot to the point that the urine starts to leak out.
Then there is the fact that we prego's have to drink more water a day for a healthy pregnancy. This adds to the frequent peeing.
There are nights that I have awoke every hour on the hour to pee. Like tonight!

you have to pee a lot more because the baby is pushing on the woman's bladder. the bladder capacity is not smaller. just think of it like this - would you have to pee more if you had someone jumping around on your bladder 24/7 for nine months???

It doesn't reduce the capacity, but the growing child puts pressure directly on the bladder and that is why pregnant women need to go to the bathroom so much.

Yes, you have to go more because the baby puts pressure on your bladder.

Hello? There is another human inside your uterus!!! That doesn't leave a lot of room for bladder expansion, hence the frequent urination!

Yes, you idiot, because you have a nine-pound creature living inside you. You think that leaves a lot of space for storing waste liquids?
