Unfortunately, much of global warming has nothing to do with rap music.
However, the ultimate cessation of rap music would put a lot of talentless hacks out of business, and not just rappers.
Once our attention is shifted back to all of the bubble-gum pop acts and generic corporate garage bands, people might begin to develop their own tastes in music; rendering the majority of radio stations - whose rotations consist of the same lousy 10 songs - useless as well. Really, it might just revolutionize the music industry, replacing fat old rich white men who laugh the whole way to the bank with people who actually care and try and produce music an album at a time as opposed to a one-hit-wonder at a time; leaving the rest of the cd to be disposable crap.
Either way, it would certainly benefit the planet.

Yes, because if people listened to less rap music, they would have less of a desire to buy clothing that is associated with a "rap" lifestyle. That means production in these textile factories would lessen, creating less pollution in the atmosphere.
I think we could all benefit from a little less rap.

Rap Music has nothing to do with Global Warming.
Pollution, use of CFC in our luxury etc are responsible for this modern menace .

yes because then the rappers would go out and not be able to produce any more music, which then would lower the amount of hot air in the atmosphere.
