After u study four year for being an opteromist(eye doctor)in a university do you stay at the same school or apply for another school?

An optometrist is required to complete at least 3 years of undergraduate courses (in college) and most complete 4 and earn a bachelor's degree. Then they apply to one of the 17 optometry schools in the U.S. To be accepted you must have completed the particular school's requirements of classes taken (mostly science based) and the OAT (optometric admissions test). So yes, you would apply to another school. Most students in undergrad going into optometry major in a science based major (pre-optometry is not a major) in order to full fill the requirements of the optometry school they are applying to.
