they can and they will have the same style as the phoenix suns but they wont be contending for a title soon...
the addition of TJ ford will help them be a run and gun team but i think they'll lose an equally quick guard in mike james to free agency, they've also got players like chris bosh, rasho nesterovic and andrea bargnani who i think operate better on a half-court offense style...
so it will be interesting to see how they play this coming season...

Hate to say it but they won't even be the next Washington Wizards (from recent years) anytime soon. Toronto messed up by trading T-Mac, then messed up again by trading Vinsanity, then messed up again by trading Rafer (Skip To My Lou) Alston. The best player they have is Bosh, but he is not experienced enough to carry a team like the Raps. Villanueva is decent, but they dont have a good point, 2 guard, or center. Their prime has come and gone, but there is always about 2010 for them.
