Miscarriage Symptoms
A miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy before 20 weeks and it is nature's way of ending a pregnancy that is not developing normally. The length of the pregnancy will effect the number and severity of miscarriage symptoms.
A miscarriage that takes place shortly after conception can occur as a slightly late, slightly heavy period. Symptoms can vary from person to person, but there are common ones that generally occur:
Bleeding. This can range from brownish spotting to heavy bleeding. It is important to note that many women experience spotting or bleeding during pregnancy and about 50% of the time, the pregnancy progresses normally.
Pain or cramping in the lower abdominal area. The pain could be on just one side, both sides, or in the middle. You may also experience pain in the genitals, lower back, thighs, or buttocks.
You may notice that pregnancy symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness have subsided or lessoned. Be aware that some women do not notice any change in these symptoms, while others do.
Some women say that didn't "feel right" just prior to their symptoms.
If you are pregnant and experiencing symptoms you should contact your health care provider. If any of the following symptoms occur you should go the Emergency Room immediately:
Heavy bleeding
Passing clots or something that looks like tissue (bring the tissue to the hospital in a clean container)
A fever higher than 100.4 degrees F
Dizziness or fainting
A history of tubal (or ectopic) pregnancy
Severe vomiting
Severe pain the abdomen or back
If you have any uncertainty about the need to contact your health care provider, call him or her immediately.
My mom had a miscarriage and she was like 2 months and she said a clump of like meat came out of her but i had a miscarriage (4-5 weeks) and nothing came out of me besides blood.
You need to take a pregnancy test.....Good luck

How the miscarriage would appear depends a great deal on how far into the pregnancy one was when the miscarriage occured.. Usually it's accompanied by alot of abdominal pain, cramping and spot bleeding. I've never had a miscarriage but I have friends that have had and they've always described it as passing a grey mass.. I assume that to have been the fetus or the embryo. Tender breasts are not uncommon prior to and for the first couple of days of a normal menstrual cycle. If you took a pregnancy test and if it was negative, chances are you simply started your period and weren't pregnant to begin with. Hope this helps

RE:
What does the tissue look like in miscarriage?
Is it broken up or does it stay in one piece? I had a slightly late period with tender breasts, but no positive test result. Today I thought I started my period, but when I saw small pieces of clear stuff I think it may have been miscarriage.

I really can't tell you.i thought i had a miscarriage in April...come to find out it was something called implantation bleeding and i passed clots and im not 4 months pregnant...how do i know?i feel the little booger moving.so the hossy was wrong and i was wrong to believe them.you can bleed your first 2 to 3 months and still be pregnant.take a test and keep taking them till you see those 2 blue lines.take one like every 2 weeks.and when you do come up positive then go set up an appointment with a reputable ob gyn.make sure they are good.word of mouth is key.don't go on the certificate on the wall.it don't always tell you the truth.

The tissue looks like a big blood clot (depends on what age of gestation or weeks) accompanied by moderate to heavy vaginal bleeding.

It's all pretty much the same - early in the pregnancy all it is really is just a clump of cells so small you wouldn't see it with the naked eye. Normal stuff coming out won't look much different that early on, for at least three months or so. ... but I really am unsure whether that early on you could even call it a miscarriage, I think a pregnancy has to be over a certain 'age' for it to count - because so few actually get carried past those first few weeks/days.
I could be wrong. Ask a doctor!

There are many people who would make fun of the possibility of altering their destinies. This is due to the fact that it thinks that nobody gets more that what is written in his destiny.
