i have no idea.

if i were to put myself in the shoes of a REALLY REALLY pro-english fan:

C.RONNIE SENT ROONEY OFF. HE CAJOULED THE REF INTO GIVING ROONEY THE RED. NO ROONEY = NO CHANCE OF WINNING. THINK IT THIS WAY. IF ROONEY WASN'T SENT OFF. WE COULD HAVE BEATENED THE PORTUGESE!!!

however, i don't think a country should be too dependent on a single striker in winning a game. this is a team sport. the telly doesn't show WHAT exactly did ronaldo do or say to the referee. so no one can blame ronaldo, because in truth he DID NOT asked the ref for a red card to be taken out.

well... all i can say is, no point hating any player. what do you get out of it?

Por que Ronaldo llorando como un nino. No necesrio para hablar con el arbitro por la tarjeta, pero el tiene un grande boca, y Rooney se fue. Pura mierda. Y si no soy hispano, eso por que mi hablar es mas o menos.

Excuse me!
When you go to the list of all the questions people have asked, scroll down to the bottom and choose 'Portugal' or otherwise translate the above in English- the universal language of all!

Well for your answer:
Wayne Rooney was sent off in the quarters because of Cristiano Ronaldo, on whom Rooney stamped over.

because he is a fake.... he dives and tries to get calls go his way by acting like something really happened...

dont get me wrong, he is an awesome player, and can shoot the ball with precision, but he is a whiner..
