Probably the most famous "invisible" bug is the notorious "noseeum" bug. This is no joke. They are commonly found at beaches and other sandy soil areas. Tent and screen manufacturers make screening that prevent "noseeums" from getting through. Their bite is a lot like that of a chigger, which is also almost imvisible. Fleas are also very hard to see. Perhaps that is what you have in your house.
