Having an egg throwing contest to see you can throw an egg (uncooked) the farthest. (cost of couple dozen eggs)
Having a whole track and Field day ( usually free if you go to a school track.

First off a three day family reunion wow! through one afternoon Your best bet would be to have it at a lake home or cabin. Someone in your family must have a lake cabin or home. You can set up your tents and campers. Fishing, pontooning, tubing behind the boat. Swimming. Water ballon tosses between families. At night have a campfire with smores and do fire works.Have some of the older kids take on some of the responsibilty of entertaining the younger children so the adults can have some fun. Three legged races, gunny sack races. Have it be pot luck. Or if you have time and know who is all coming assign meals. Like one family could do breakfast for everyone one day one, then another family do lunch, and another family do dinner and so on for the three days. Asign each family a meal a head of time. If you have more family members then meals them split the meals up. You bring the main course, and have someone else do the salad and desert and so on. Plan a head so not everyone does the same type of meal.

write a letter on rocks....place them up side down {the letters that would spell your last name..or #S 2006...reunion...whatever..that keeps kids busy for a while and leads to exploriong...depending how long the word is ...they may even get side tracked with some discovery of their own...none the less its interesting...Oh yeah...I got side tracked myself...the first one to find each letter and spell the whole word....WINS!!!!

1.Chinese Whisper... you start from one end... a person whispers a sentence or statement in the ear of the person sitting next to him or her ONCE.. and the other person passes it on whispering once and soo on... till the end of line.... its funny what the outcome is..
2. Person, Action, Place, With, Singing: amazing game... write the five things mentioned on a sheet of paper in column... one person writes.. lets say the person.. and passes his paper to the person sitting next ot him... and the other person writes the name of a person and passes his paper to the next.... everyone passes.... and the person to whom the paper is passes (the Person field should be hidden by folding the page) witres the action and passes... and then the next one writes Place... and soo on... until everyone has one paper with the completed thing...
Unfold the whole paper and read... its going to make out HILARIOUS sentences... trust me!!!
