At the very least the wild card....beat Boston in the Divisional Series, play The White Sox for The American League Champion, and maybe just maybe beat them up.

Our pitching will hold up, and Jim Leyland is no slacker....he is NOT going to let us give up.

If The Tigers play .500 ball the rest of the way...that is 96 wins!

But I think they win at least 100.

If we do play Chicago for the ALCS I thnk it will go 7 games, and it will all boil down to pitching....should be interesting.

they'll miss the playoffs! i know u thik im crazy but the white sox will consistantly keep winning and should win the central. while i like the tigers but I just dont see them playing the way they are for a full season. their schedule gets a LOT tougher in the second half.Plus, Kenny Rogers who is the head of their good rotation had a tendancy to have horrible second halfs for the past few years! so that will hurt them too. put all of that togather and u can expect a bad second half meaning the team that is in all likleyhood to win the wild card then are the yankees. i know their pitching is not reliable but they have just enough offense and they'lll get sheffield back for the stretch run and expect them to make a trade or 2 in order to improve some of their needs. im not a yanks fan but thats how i see it coming out. and by the way, i think the blue jays also have a very good chance at the wild card but i go with the yanks 4 now.

Right down the toilet. They can seem to beat everyone in the league except the WORLD CHAMPION WHITE SOX. Detroit is 1-5 against them and unfortunately for them they still have 11 games against them. It is impossible to pitch like that for an entire season and that is why they will crash and burn in the second half not only to sit on the couch with the rest of the league and watch the Chicago White Sox repeat.

i'm a twins fan, however, i'd like detroit to have a crack at it, we have had success for 3 years, now it's detroits turn , but my true feelings is the chicago will catch them in the end, but, wild card teams have also had great success as well, have fun

What kind of question is that? Are we supposed to be psychic? They have been in 1st place the entire season, have great management, so I'm going to say the World Series.
