Do you think that you could cope with the strains, stresses, occasional hostility that you, your partner and children could face? Weigh in the factors of family, friends, community, casual interactions from day-to-day. What it would mean to your children throughout their lives. That your bonding with your partner would have to be so much stronger and supportive than other marriages?
Do you think that 'love wins out' can overcome these additional stresses?

I think that two beings who love each other..no matter who they are...can make a relationship work if they really want it. With that being said, I also think that it may be at a cost to them. However, what in this world worth doing/having doesn't "cost" something in the long term.
Even spending time on Yahoo Answers costs us something..time. But, it isn't without benefits too. We get to answer interesting questions, and in addition we get to take the time to explore our own thoughts.
The couple you describe would have to weigh whether the benefits of the relationship outweigh the related costs. I believe any good, solid love relationship is worth it in the end..no matter what anyone says.

if by inter-rational you mean inter-national, then i think its ok as long as it doesnt stay that way very long.

if by inter-rational you mean inter racial then there is no problem. i see no reason why it should be. i am the product of one and i dont see anything wrong with it. the only minor problem is figuring out exactly where you stand between the two different groups(as a child), but still the only problem here comes from a society which expects bi-racial/multi-racial people to fall into one race for the purpose of being stereotyped by everyone else.
if this is you trying to decide whether or not to marry someone of another race make sure ur child can embrace both of his cultural backgrounds. race is not important but culture definitely is. people often get the two confused

if the parents of one of the spouses are racists it doesnt matter u were made to leave the house anyway

color should not be an issue but unfortunately it is, and i am afraid it will always be. but if i fell head over heels with a lady of a different race i would face the consequences with pride. pride in the fact that not only was i able to get past the color/cultural differences but so has my wife!!!

People are people to me. I'm emotionally color blind. My white daughter has been dating a mixed guy for three years. I don't see a problem with it. It's the 21st Century. Can't we get beyond color?
