I had a problem similar to yours once, and it turned out to be a $10.00 dollar fuel filter, since fuel filters are far cheaper than fuel pumps I would try replacing the filter first if I were you.

It sounds like a fuel delivery problem. I.e. fuel pump and/or filter. It could very well also be a problem with the computer or a faulty wiring (shorting) harness. Check the filter first, then fuel pump, then computer. Wiring harness isn't the easiest to check. To check the computer, you would need a mechanic to use a reader. I had a pontiac grand am with the same problems and it turned out to be the wiring harness. Good Luck. P.S. I just remembered, check your ignition system as well.

well..once you learn how to spell CAMARO then it might make it a little easier to find a book about it..but i would think that its prob the fuel pump...my sisters 2000 truck did the same thing...i would run great then it would die...we got the fuel pump and filter replaced and it works great again...i would suggest taking it to a dealership that services them, unless you are pretty handy with that kind of stuff or you don't want to spend that kind of money, but that's what i always do with my 95 camaro mainly because its guaranteed for life. but yeah..defiantly check the full pump..i may be wrong....but if you check the fuel pump and its good, then you know where not to look....

it could be,,but it also may be a ignition problem too,,i had one recently that done this,,and it had a bad ignition in it,,if your,a has a distributor,,this would be something you might want to check out,,if it has the power pack,,it could be heating up on you ,,and shutting the car down,,then when it cool,s off it will start back,,a fuel pump,,will also shut down sometime,s when it get,s hot,,and then will re-start,,i hope that you get it going,,at least you have a starting point.

I had a car that did that, but it was much much older. The problem on the car had to do with the vacuum pumps or something. It had a leak in it, and wasn't able to suck all the air needed to. I don't know if it would work but you could check on it. Check your filters while your at it.

the question is: are you losing power? if yes, altenator.

If youre just pooping out, it could be your fuel pump or you have water in your gas line and need to add some dry gas to it.
