look. waltzing into another country to live and work isn't easy. even if it were only a month you would still have to acquire a living visa and a work visa. despite what you may hear a passport is not all that is required in a foreign country.

As a Canadian you need a work permit to work in Europe. I would recommend going for more then a month though. You can get what is called a Working Holiday visa for 6 months to a year if you are under 30 in some countries. My husband and I are going to Denmark on one of these visas. You can do England, Ireland, France (if you speak french) and Denmark for sure. I don't know the other countries but if you go to the immigration websites it will tell you. The other option is to go to Ibiza or Costa del Sol Spain in May and jsut get a summer job.

Try US military bases, you don't need a work permit there- fast food, convenience store, etc. Also, hotels, restaurants- english language and your age are a big plus.
