I have gone through very many unbelievably hurtful things in my life. It has broken alot of my heart but also made me stronger. I don't expect anything because we do not know what tomorrow holds for us. I try to think about what other people are suffering from, here and in other countries, and put myself in their position. However we never know what the "worst" is for us. Life can go in 3 directions : you can either move forward, sit still or fall back. Its all ones own personal view and inner strength that pulls you through the hard times.

Thanks for your very interesting question.
I think the worst thing that has happened to me is the death of my parents and also my cat, Booby.
I know these are normal things that happen to everyone sooner or later, but at the time, it was terrible and very painful.
However, I don't know if this the worst thing that can happen to me. After all, I don't know the future. I live in Israel where there are terror attacks and I always think it's possible that I can be a victim of one of these attacks although I live inside the Green Line.
I go on - I don't know if I am stronger or broken. No one can replace parents. I have another cat - that's good - someone to love and be loved by.
I don't know if things will get better or worse - I hope things will get better - I am still hoping to find my soulmate. Perhaps, these questions are really asking are you an optimist or a pessimist, do you see the glass half empty or half full.

Not yet. The worst it yet to come. However, everything leading to that day will have hopefully prepared me in a small way. Although none of that will be consolation.
Life has made me stronger and weaker. It's the human condition played out in emotion.
I expect to go on.

So far; yes (& I have to hedge my bets alittle- because I don't know what tomorrow will bring! :) ). And yes, my worst experiences have made me stronger- not merely because I survived them, but because I learned from them & grew from those experiences. The important thing IS, not to take the bad things that happen to us- personally. Everybody has bad things happen to them...-It's a part of the living experience, and a shaper of the people we become. I expect more bad things will happen to me as a matter of course- not because I'm fatalistic or fearful. I would rather they DIDN'T :) -but, that's the way life is set up. So as for "Going on..."- I will plaguerize one of W. Churchchills WWII speeches alittle by saying...-"I shall go on til the end. "I shall fight on the seas and oceans... "I shall defend this (I)sland- whatever the cost may be... "I shall NEVER surrender..." ...

I have always loved to take the difficult road, and it has made me stronger and fearless.
I hope things never get easier for I do not want to loose my edge, i want a challenging life and a chance of facing all the deeds from my previous births.

the worst that could happen was that I could have been paralyzed but I got two surgeries. It made me stronger and I feel that things will get better since Ive experienced that and eventually I know they will go badly due to natural causes

when i first overcame the worst that happened to me, I realised that anything can be taken on, which is an advantage, bt it broke something in me which can neva b repaired and hurts me a bit everyday, bt its made me realise nothing is impossible in this world. I expect to go on, bt am more cautious and all the thing tht i expected to change wen i met with my worst didnt, and the opposite happened, and now i jst realise how everything around me is jst soo unpredictable.
faith keeps me goin :D

I'm an abortion survivor, I've witnessed the murder of my grandparents, I've had my rightful inheritance taken from me by a technicality of the law and my own mother tried to kill me twice several years ago just because I was alive. I not only survived but I conquered....Allahu Akbar!
