The traditional entrance song of the circus is titled "Entry of the Gladiators." It was written by Julius Fucik (1872-1916) in 1897.

You can find a samples at http://www.christmasconcert.com/Samples/Files/EntryoftheGladiators.MP3 and http://acpilmer.com/Track1clip.mp3

No, but I'd like to know myself. I love creepy circus music! "Oompa Radar" by Goldfrapp takes on an interesting version of circus music. There's also one part towards the end of the song "She Hangs Brightly" by Mazzy Star where the organ music starts to sound a little on the circus side.

Not sure if this is the music you're referring to, but a lot of European circuses use a selection titled "Saber Dance" composed by Aram Khachaturian. It is from "Gayne Ballet".
