She seems to and i know that i have gay friends that really like to hear her dish, but my straight, male friends can't stand her!!!

She's funny to me (gay man) and I know when she has appeared locally, her performances were heavily advertised in the gay press and on gay websites.

Not only brutally honest, but a "funny girl." Have you noticed most straight guys don't like funny women? It's almost like they have brains and straight men don't expect that! (ooo, stereotyping)
Yes, Kathy Griffin often opens her act by asking, "Where are my gays?" It gets a big round of applause.

i adore her...and i don't even know who half the celebrities she talks about are. she's got great comedic timing & delivery; it feels like she's just a funny friend telling you stories, rather than the typical "borscht belt" comedian like rita rudner.
