My first love and I met at a summer camp when she was 14 and I was 16. We tried to get a hold of each other over the years and it never worked out because we lived in different states. I ended up getting married and have four kids. She stayed single and lives in another state. She found me on the internet and we have been writing to each other for three weeks everyday.

Its okay as long as your wife knows about it and it is okay with her. If you are hiding the fact that you are emailing another women then it is absolutely wrong.

10 years is a long time to be apart. You are imagining that she is the same person and that you are the same person you were ten years ago. You both have grown up and have changed the way you think about things. You are excited to be in contact, but you have already chosen your wife. Live with your choices. The ONLY way that you could still email her is if your wife approves of your interaction with her. Also, to be sure that your wife doesn't suspect any inappropriate behavior, you need to let her read the emails. Further, it would be better if you introduced your wife to her, in person. Then and only then can you continue to email her. Your commitment is to your family not to your memory of an aging 14 yr old girl. Good Luck

No your married and the vows do not say a thing about until i find my first girlfriend on the internet gees. Would like it if your wife had done that and not you??? i dont think so. Its not right stop it now you lived with out her for 10 years and have a wife and family. Grow up

I think you are flirting with disaster. You are married with kids and your energy and intimacy should be with your wife. Anybody sounds great on the internet-you don't have to work out family and kids and all that. So it's so romantic etc., but this will ruin your life if you let it. You are having an emotional affair with intimacy you share with your online first love. This takes away what you share with your wife, and yes your kids. Wake up before it's too late. Stop this internet thing.

but u r married and that is suppose to be a life time commitment

If you are totally running to your computer to find messages from her, if you are disappointed if she has not repsonded to an e-mail within your hopeful timed response, if you sneak messages between breaks and you would regret that your wife took the liberty to read them, if you find yourself questioning your marriage....the line ...ended up getting married and havin 4 kids then YES its bad. You are taking away emotionally what your should be giving to your wife - you say she is single as if u are interested again.... its not ok.

If you wife knows and doesn't have a problem,then it's up to you. If she doesn't know, tell her before she finds out on her own. Your dealing with past emotions, Writing everyday seems a little extreme,but you know yourself and your self control.Keep in mind what you might be risking.

Never leave the one you love for the one you like because the one you like will leave you for the one they love. If you love you're wife and family you'll hang it up becuase you could end up cheating and losing everything for something thats not meant to be. Think about the consquences

Turn the tables, and think if you wanted your wife doing the same thing, if the answer is no, then you probably shouldn't be doing it. If your wife knows what you are doing, I don't see the harm, as long as it stays innocent and no feelings are involved.

As long as you are honest with your wife and it does not create any issues with your marriage then ,yeah,it should be o.k. but dont go thinking that feelings will be the same after all the years.
