the only band member in Queen who was gay was Freddie Mercury. The other 3 all had wives and children. Freddie was actually bi-sexual.

What difference does it make?
If you grew up in that era you most likely rocked out to their music.
As for me, I was stoner and loved any band with great music.
Queen, The Eagles, AC/DC,Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Edgar White Band, Foreigner, .38 Special, Etc Etc.

Freddie Mercury was bisexual as he had a fiance. He died of AIDS in 1991. The other members were not known for their sexuality.
Their symbol, the Queen crest, identifies their sexuality well. It was designed by Mercury and includes the zodiac signs of all four members: two lions for Leo (Deacon and Taylor), a crab for Cancer (May), and two fairies for Virgo (Mercury). The lions are holding a large letter Q, with the crab on top of it while on fire, and the fairies below on either side. The whole logo is topped by a phoenix. The remaining members of Queen are working with Paul Rodgers formerly of Free.
