I feel really bad for Shakira because her hips don't lie--they tell me that they are very wobbily, just like her voice.

I disagree with all who bring Shakira down, she's very original in her style, lyrics and music, most of which she writes herself. Not enjoying her music does not diminish her as an artist. Germany excelled at making this event for fans and to promote the GAME to the world, not just to promote Germany. Latin music seems to be popular in Germany (and Europe overall), (after all they had Juanes perform during the group classification drawings) and the organizers provided the best for the fans, whether it ("entertainment") originanes in Africa, South America, North America, Europe, etc, making at least an attempt to leave behind the national arrogance that other countries can't seem to get enough of, and bring together cultures and nations regardless of who wins. or if you prefer, it's the WORLD Cup played in Germany, not the Germany cup.... so let it be international in all its aspects.

yeah, I can definitely see some GREAT German artists performing, specially since German music is so well known around the world for being lively...
Maybe they should have gotten Hasselhoff to perform... hahaha..
