Start using cocoa butter now. Not the lotion...the real stuff. It comes in tubs or sticks. (the latter is much easier to use) Apply it all day long. Keep on doing after the baby is born too. It wont make them go away...nothing does that...but it will help prevent them from happening and smooth the ones you already have. Key ares to apply include the back of your arms, your breast, your tummy, hips and even the top of your pubic area. You will probably find that you enjoy how it makes your skin feel so much that you being putting it all over your body! I have always bought mine at health food stores but I think you can get it at mass retail chains (ie. WalMart) as well. Best of luck to you!

Nothing can make stretch marks go away. Nothing, Nothing. They will fade considerably in time. At first they are a ugly reddish, purplish color. This will go away in a year or two. Then in 5-6 years they will fade even more. I got stretch marks from growing too fast when I was 14. I still have them, but don't care. I cared a lot when I was 14, but in my late 20's they were not that noticeable when I took my shirt off around a swimming pool.

Palmer's with coco butter is definitly the way to go. Although it won't prevent or diminish stretch marks, it will keep your skin soft and make it "easier" for it to stretch. Most women who don't have stretch marks before there pregnant will not have to worry about them after they deliver. Stetch marks do go away but with time. After the baby is born you can try some other types of lotions to help the stretch marks fade...I recommend stri-victen. it's a little costly but it works. But you can only use this if your not breast feeding.....good luck

Cocoa butter doesn't work, do vitamin E cream. Although, stretch marks are badges of a real woman ;) ...everyone has them, so I wouldn't get too sensitive about them. They do fade in time...no worries. Congratulations on the baby ;)

stretch marks are scars of your skin, it is not possible to make them smaller. Best advice is prevent them. Drink plenty of water, put some lotion (there are a lot in the market) and ignore the itching.

Stretch marks are from your skin losing elasticity...it's been stretched out so long, eventually it just gives up. LOL Aside from cosmetic surgery to get rid of them, I'm not aware of anything else that will do it. I don't think they make such a thing to get rid of them...it's not like a scar or a blemish...it's completely stretched out skin that's hit its limit.

Try vitamin E cream...it'll work wonders on those stretch marks. Use some every night before you go to bed and that will take care of them.
