Why did she leave the show?

She got fired because Will Smith said she complained that she wasn't in enough scenes. She wanted to be more involved in the plots.

2 reasons.
1. In real life, not just on the show, Janet Hubert-Whitten was pregnant.
2. She and Will werent getting a long. She also had problems with the management.
The new Vivian was Daphne Maxwell Reid.

She wanted more money. I guess she thought she was a important part of the show. I guess they showed her. I liked the new lady better anyway. But that's not as bad as what they did to Judy Winslow off of Family Matters. She went upstairs one episode and she just never returned. Never to be spoken of again. She took it bad to. She started doing porn.

She was not pleased with the direction of the show's storylines and began to question the production quality. This led to her not having her contract renewed and the new "Aunt Viv" was brought on to replace her.

I heard that she and Will Smith had some "creative differences" going on. I have to say personally, I thought she fit the role better.

I think her and will smith got into it. I saw something about her being let go on ET, she was saying something like she was being used. Now I wish I would've watched it!
