Factors are, by definition, prime numbers. Therefore, the factors of 30 are: 1, 2, 3, 5. All the other posts show multiple applications of the primes: 3X10 = 3X(2X5), 2X15 = 2X(3X5), 5X6 = (2X3) X 5, 1X30 = 1X(2X3X5).

I know 4 is not....and I am not sure you could count 1 & 30 since any number multiply by 1 is that number, which is kind of pointless. Please check with a math teacher.
