I've been reading in some different places that in Melbourne, there is some strange rule about needing to turn and cross over a Tram track. Could someone explain what you are mean't to do. I think some people call it a 'hook right' turn or something like that. I am going there in the next few months and don't really wanna get in a crash, so if anyone can please explain, what the rules are would be great. Thanks.

This is something that is genetically imprinted for Victorians (along with the second head). Safest thing to do is ignore it and stop in the tram tracks. Mostly they stop for you (unless you have NSW plates).
