hmmmmm, a song that i can't hear without getting all misty eyed and quiet?

would have to be "Against the Wind" by Bob Seger.

Janey was lovely, she was the queen of my nights
There in the darkness with the radio playlng low
And the secrets that we shared
The mountains that we moved
Caught like a wildfire out of control
Till there was nothing left to burn and nothing left to prove

And I remember what she said to me
How she swore that it never would end
I remember how she held me oh so tight
Wish I didnt know now what I didnt know then

man---wonder where my "janey" is. what she's doing---who she's with. does she ever think about me?

it's hard to pick one song. for me i have songs that fit certain moods.

excited/going-out-on-the-town-song -- What I Like About You (The Romantics or Lillix ... doesn't matter)

general feel good song -- No Rain (Blind Melon)

love song -- This Year's Love (David Gray)

driving around aimlessly -- Tangled Up in Blue (Bob Dylan)

tired/worn out/maybe kinda angry song -- Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground (The White Stripes!)

feelin' really country -- Rocky Top ( The Osborne Brothers)

classic rock mood -- Trampled Under Foot (Zeppelin)

really sleepy mood -- Legends of the Fall Theme

okay so i can't do it. i should stop now haha.

"Devil Went Down to Georgia," by Charlie Daniels band. I'm not a big country fan, but that song was in the jukebox at the bar my family owned, and just stuck with me.
