No. Because gay people aren't thin skinned like that. We are comfortable with our sexuality. To insult a gay person you have to be really mean. Like tell them that they aren't going to the gym enough or they don't know how to dress or if you really want to insult a gay, tell them they dance like a breeder.
Just as an FYI, when gay people want to be insulting to heterosexual people, they call them Breeders.

Whenever I hear someone say something is "gay" I usually reply with "That's not gay, gay people know better" and then find a new term to describe it. I have used "straight" as the more appropriate derogatory term.
For example, a girl at work was describing her dad as, "He wore a black shirt with brown shoes. He's gay" and I replied, "No, gay people know better. He was pretty much straight".
Breeder, however, is a better insulting term than just "straight"

Being called straight to me is pretty insulting--- people saying "Oh I thought you were straight." or "Oh think god you act straight...." kinda pisses me off because its making straight sound like its something I would want to be. when I rather be a Jew in Hitler Germany (which is close to the road america is currently on) but yeah i rather be anything then a damn hetero, breeder/ straight.
Had to get dirty in this because typing about being called straight really makes me feel like less of a human.

to david b and country bumpkin - go get a life.
The term breeders is being used as a negative term. I don't think that calling most people straight is going to be taken offensively, but some of us (me included) might because we try so hard to be out all the time. I always act shocked when people don't pick up on all the comments.

No, no,no,no,no,no, and no. Being gay is a state of sexuality just like being staight is. The reason people (straight people) hate gay peopl is because people cant except new things and religion backs them up for being this way.

Well I'm "straight down the middle" Bi, and I get more offended about being labelled as gay (by gay and straight people who equate the two). I much prefer to be called queer.

You know it does not count either you are gay or straight, everyone has his own weaknesses and imperfections and many straights are sinners rather that gays because they say gays are just 10% only of the world population! So 90% are straights and they are all sinners!

Well, I think it’s because being gay has been looked down on for so long, people associate it with something bad. Being straight is the “norm”, so people think of it as something good.
