Let me tell you my story okay. I am just a normal person, I come from a small town, my mom is a DJ and my dad is a Manager at a Chrysler Dealership. By the time I was 17 I weighed around 270 lbs and I wore a size 24. I honestly don't know how or why I ever let myself go like that, but it happened. I decided one day that I was sick of being FAT! I had a boyfriend, who suprisingly was really cute and didn't care about my weight, but I decided that I had to do it for ME! I started in February of one year and the first thing that I did was cut out ALL soda! I only drank water. It was hard...VERY hard because I was a big soda drinker!!!! Nevertheless I did it. I cut out all sweets completely. I didn't even look at them. Then I started doing situps every night before I went to bed. I started out only being able to do 10 and worked my way up to doing 200 like it was no problem. I started walking two miles twice a week and slowly worked my way up to running two miles three times a week. I also did a lot of arobics and push ups, leg stretches, jumping jacks, etc.
I eventually started allowing myself Diet soda ONLY and water or unsweetened tea. I hated diet too, but i made myself drink it and I got use to it. You have to understand I was very diligent about this...it was something I had made up my mind to do and I did it religiously. It takes a certain mind set to lose it! By the February of the next year I had lost 125lbs and was in a size 11/12 dress, I was toned and had a rock hard stomache. I actually stopped losing weight(I suppose because I had gained a lot of muscle), but I did keep losing inches. I'm almost 5'7 so 145-150 is just right for me. Whatever the amount of weight that you want to lose...you CAN do it! But you have to make up your mind...how important is it to you to do it and why?
If you want to lose it and KEEP it off....you can't do it half-heartedly and you have to change your entire lifestyle, but TRUST ME you will feel so much better once you do! You will feel energized and refreshed and more happy all around! Good Luck sweetie!

Hi, In Islam there is a thing called fasting. It's necessary for everyone who is fit to fast. But restricted to pregnant women, sick people and old people.

If you fast you will learn the 1) Feeling of poor people's hunger
2) Scientists and doctors around the world say fasting has been able to dissolve fats and cholestrol around the body and the heart. Not only that impurities has been able to burn.

So I suggest is take a fast for thirty days. Say for example get up in the morning have your breakfast. Don't eat till the midnight nor drink nor have sex. After 10 or 11 something like that break your fast by eating just a sandwich and a small cup of juice. Practise this for 20-30 days and you will know the trimness in your body.

Hope I answered the question and you must have known a small info about Islam ;-)

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

eat 1 chocolate bar everyday for 2 days, the next 2 days eat 3/4 of that chocolate bar. the next 2 days don't eat any chocolate. next 3 days have half a chocolate bar. wait for 5 days and have a 1/4 of a bar every day for 5 days. wait 2 days. and when you crave chocolate have a chocolate kiss. if you dont want to gain any weight doing this you must exercise. but after all that your weight will probably be the same. if you want to lose weight more than you want to get over your adiction i would redomend having chocolate kisses, maxamize yourself to 6 a day. even tho they look small they are 25 calories each, and that can really add up.

You CAN'T quit drinking pop and eating so much? You'll never get to where you want to be by saying that you CAN'T. You can! Just...do it? If you aren't drinking water, or enough water- you should. That's HUGE. I don't think some people get how important that really is. Aside from drinking more water it is VERY important to get off the pop. If not off of it completely drink very little of it. Pop isn't good for you at all- it's one of the worst things out there. Diet and exercise are key- just aim for healthy. That's what's important.

Just eat healthy. Go to the Library. The Library has hundreds of books on nutrition and exercise. Eat a small portion of meat and have the rest of the meal filled with cooked vegetables and salad with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and vinegar. You can also have a small portion of brown rice. For snacks eat fruit, apples, bananas, oranges. You'll lose weight, but you'll also lose muscle if you don't lift weights. You'll lose faster if you do cardio and you'll also keep your heart in shape and prepare for harder training days ahead. If you just eat junk food, you're just going to have loser friends who have the same problems. Join the YMCA or health club and meet some people interested in improving themselves.

If toning is what you want most, do exercises, drink lots of water, and drink at least 2 cups (or glasses if you like cold) green tea daily to flush your system and you'll get more antioxidants, which you'll need if you exercise. A glass of water before each meal will help make you feel full faster and do your body a world of good. Walks and lunges for your lower body, use bungee cords or weights for upper body. Good luck! ♥

I'm in a similar situation. the first thing I did was switch to diet sodas. it tastes almost the same and you're illiminating about 200 calories for every pop you would normally drink. also, eat smaller amounts more frequently.

I would start walking or running, as often as possible. going for a walk every day would be so great for your body. and if you have access to a gym or something, lifting weights would help. do smaller weight for longer reps, that helps tone instead of bulk up.

good luck, it's helped for me. : )

drink a lot of water when ur hungry and maybe a cracker or two. I have also been told about the green tea diet where you have ur regular meals but instead of snacks u have green tea i wonder if it works. Do lots of crunches, run, swim, try and cut back to like 2 or 3 sodas a week and not as much junk food. Good Luck!

you have to quit drinking pop - that will help you alot - start drinking water - if you are like I was - you will get caffeine headaches - I won't lie they are bad - but it's all worth it - and what I did when I was hungry was sit down and eat a healthy snack - if I had just eaten a little while ago - I would go for a walk or do something to keep my mind off of food - also drinking a tall glass of cold water would help me out - good luck
