Leafs interest in the trade is slowly decreasing thanks to the Panthers. Instead of honouring Gary's request, the Panthers are actually shopping him around. I mean come on, how mean can you be.
With interest in Peca and Carter increasing, the chance of Gary coming to Toronto becomes close to nothing if one of those players signs on the dotted line.

Gary's ex-wife left the Toronto area for western Canada, leaving their daughter without a parent less than 1,000 miles away, so Gary was trying to get back to the Leafs in order to be there for his daughter. A team shouldn't pick up players based on geographical decisions, but HATS OFF to the guy for looking to be there for his daughter.

It won't happen, the Leafs are interested in Anson Carter and have apparently extended an offer to him.

No, but if it does go through, it's nice to see the leaves still signing/trading for old players who can't play anymore.
