I want to know why Envy hates Edward and Alphonse so much. I don't care about Spoilers so Spoil away.

Because he was actually Hoenhime's first son that died, and was brought back as as the first Humunculus of Dante and Hoenhime.
Edward and Al seem to be hoenhime's favorite sons, so Envy is Jelous. What a fitting name huh?
This is revealed in the last 2 episodes of the series before Envy Kills ED and they pass through the gate. It is further explored in the movie.
I was an avid watcher of the series, and I took so long typing this, I'm sure someone beat me to telling you.

Because Envy is also Hohenheim's son. Envy was the son of Hohenheim and Dante and died when he was very young. Hohenheim tried to bring him back to life with the first attempt at a human transmutation and ended up with Envy, the first Homunculi. Envy naturally hated Edward because he has Hohenheim's blood in him but after Dante sent Hohenheim through the gate in a late 40's episode Envy couldnt kill him for revenge so he decided to kill Ed (who has the same blood) instead. You know a natural "Hate the brother who Daddy loved the most" complex.

Good thing that you asked moi. I am an expert on all matters FMA related. Okay, here we go. Envy is Ed and Al's step brother (Hoenhiem had a relationship with Dante/Lyra when they first created the Philosopher's Stone, and Envy was their kid. He died of mercury poisoning (oddly enough, because mercury is found in high concentrations of fish and worms and such that are both girl and boy) and Hoenhiem tried to resurrect him using a human transmutation, but failed. Envy then turned into a homunculus, and is now jealous that Hoenhiem loves them and not him. He is also jealous because they are normal, and Envy envies everyone, so there is your answer.

Envy is Hohenheims and Dante's son but after he was born he died of mercury poisoning. And Hohenheim tried to bring him back but failed. After that he left Envy and Dante and started a fresh new family with Trisha, Ed, and Al. I believe the reason he left them was because like in the last few episodes he reveals that he and Dante have to transfer their souls to new bodies with the Philosopher's Stone in order to live. But basically Envy hates Ed and Al cuz Hohenheim left him to live with them. So sad when Envy kills ed v.v

Envy hates them so much because he is Hoenheim of light's first born son, who died from lead poisoning when he was a baby. Hoenheim never accepted him as his son and left and his mother Donte`. Later Envy found out that he had a new life and two sons whom he loved very much. And that made Envy hate Hoenheim and his new family even more. He doesn't hate Ed and Al as much as he hate Hoenheim of light.

One reason that I know is because of father leaving him and marrying Trisha (I think), having edward and alphonse, ed being human and he's not, ed having alot of attention and he's the opposite.It's basically jealousy between envy and edward.
