they used to play only music, but its become less and less over the years. they still play music videos very early in the morning from like 3-8 am. same w/VH1 and MTV2.

I agree. Real World used to be good. All I can say is that the music videos only come on late at night until early in the morning when you are getting for work or school. You really do not have any time to watch them. I do not even bother with the music television stations anymore, just because they do not show videos anymore.

When MTV first came out it was nothing but music videos. MTV were the trailblazers. Now reality television is a hit and they are trying to keep up with the times. Complete sell outs I say.
The only show I do watch is Pimp my ride because I love the paint jobs they do on each car.

At the beginning and ending credits of each show. I can't even watch the Canadian MTV, every time I tuned in it was some talk show with about a dozen presenters talking about some topic of the day.

decrease back contained in the day mtv became particularly badass and they were all about the music. then regrettably they branched out and the music grew to change into out of date and we had to position self belief in crappy trl which then grew to change into even crappier even as they stopped taking area in the completed video and purely gave a snippet with followers yelling how they love their bff!! dont get me all started on mtv.

Yeah, they really should change their name now that its mostly reality shows and hardly ever music videos anymore. I enjoy watching some of the shows just for fun but most is crap like you said. I miss the videos.

get digital cable and get the 5 or 6 other mtv's that only play music videos

Exactly! That's what I have been asking for years now! I have found that they play music videos at 3:00 AM. I found that one morning when I couldn't sleep.... WHo the heck wants to watch videos at that time???

try watching the fuse channel they show more music.
