I don't know...the keyboard is a pretty influential item. Look at how much it has influenced both in the realm of music and technology. And I agree with one of the other members that the printing press is a very influential instrument, but once again. There had to be a keyboard to print out all the letters.

yes,but only the most influential of the last the last 80 or so years, the violin would be number 1 for the next several hundred years history. I doubt however that there were air-violin contests however.

I believe the drums would be the first influential instrument. If you had a log, you had a musical instrument.

are u kidding? of course it is!!!!!!!!!! it's got the best sound in the world. my brother used to play for me when i was little, and ever since then i've loved it.
