no, there are medical reasons that birth control is used for, and also it shows that you are being responsible about what you are doing by trying to prevent any unwanted pregnancies.

It depends on what you define as wrong.

The Catholic Church says that birth control is wrong, because you are interfering with the plan of god, which is: "to go forth and multiply." However, the new Pope reversed it slightly when he allowed people to start using condoms. The idea is to slow the spread of AIDS, but it also says that the bible doesn't have to be taken literally.

The Church also says that premarital sex is wrong, and so do many religions. Once upon a time this was a very good idea, because sex without protection can produce a child, one that the father can ignore. Of course the first condoms were made out of sheep bladders and even in the Middle Ages “God fearing” nobles used them so they could ignore the rule.

Now days birth protection is a good idea. In fact it should be mandatory whenever you have sex and you don't want to get pregnant or possibly catch a sexually transmitted disease. This doesn't give you a license to go out and have premarital sex. You should wait until you’re an adult before you do that. But, when you are an adult then PLEASE USE BIRTH CONTROL. Do remember that only a condom can stop STD transmssion.

One of the strongest cases of child abuse I know if is when an unwanted child is born. The child is either born into poverty, given up for adoption, or into a family that doesn't want them. You then condemn the child to 18 years of misery. A few lucky ones get adopted by loving parents, but the majority face poverty, abuse (some sexual abuse), and hatred from their parents. I can hardly think of a worse thing to do to a child. And it can be prevented with just a few pills, or a condom. To me it is morally correct and proper to use birth control, and to not use it is wrong!

Well, it depends on when and what kind of birth controll you use. My preacher just preached about this a week or two ago...I can copy the notes if you like. But, don't use ''The Morning After'' pill 'cause it is supposed to be used for abortion. And as long as you use birth controll pills before sex and NOT after you're okay. It you use the birth controll pills after sex then if there is a fertilized egg, IT IS A BABY not a fetus, A BABY and you will be merdering it...otherwise known an abortion. So, I hope this helped. Let me know if you need any more info. I have some notes I can send to ya...good luck!

Of course it isn't wrong to use birth control. STD issues aside, making love to someone and making a baby are two separate issues. You can be in love but in no position to bring a baby into the world.

I don't think there is anything wrong.
Churches used to say against it but that time the wold was not over-populated 7 they wanted more people to follow their religion.
But now a days the curcumnstance is different & birth control is certainly essential.

It's not exactly wrong, but it isn't exactly healthy.

Birth control isn't 100% effective @ times, even when used with a back-up method [condom, sponge]. Trust me, I KNOW!!!

I've been on the Pill, Patch & Depo-Provera... even that Seasonale nonsense: they were wonderful for preventing pregnancy, but the side-effects [blod-clots, nausea, headaches, dizzines] made me horribly sick.

To each his own, and maybe you won't have this problem. Just make sure you go over it with your physician on what's the best one.

I couldn't do it anymore, I didn't like the way it made my body feel...

The Catholic church teaches against it because they want more members.

All others pretty much go along with it. It is far better than using abortion to kill a baby just because you don't want to be pregnant.

Don't use abortion as birth control.

I started to use the pill the regulate my period because I used to pass out everytime I was on my period. Now my periods are short and pleasant. But if you are actively sexually it prevents unwanted pregnancies. But remember it doesn't prevent STD's or AIDS.

I use it daily!! It prevents pregnancy. However, not STD's so use a condom for that. It also regulates your cycle and helps you to enjoy yourself more without worry.
