how could anyone feel bad for the french losing today, especially Americans? even if i was french i would hate that country.

God, I can't believe I'm defending them, and I was supporting Italy!

Not a lecture, but a reminder... If France had not helped us as an ally in our fight for Independence from England, we would have never become the great nation we are today. They helped us fiscally and a French fleet also blockaded the Chesapeake Bay preventing the British Navy from saving Cornwallis and then there is that Statue they gave us that stands as a shining example of Liberty..

Zidane was the culprit. He could have lead France to the champion and a highlight in his soccer history, but instead he chose he way and ..... walked head down to the locker room without saying a word.

No, I was hoping Italy would win. I think it was a very close game but the dynamics's of the game changed when Zidane head butt that Italian player. I think it created bad karma for the team. I was shocked to see that play, I thought it was awful...
