I don't know if this will help or not but, I don't have outside friends, the reason for that is, if you have a problem and you don't wanna talk to family members about it maybe a friend would listen and maybe they wouldn't and i don't trust anyone but, i'll say this there's more people on here to be friends with and that will listen if you'll find the right one and make sure you can trust them, don't get to attached so quick and this goes for friends outside of the pc world to, I know i've been hurt by an outside friend or, at least i thought she was my friend. You can be friends with anyone and, some friends yes you can trust.

You can be a friend, without trusting. But there comes a time when you will trust someone regardless of the consequences. I think that is human nature, to want a "trusting bond", even if its not the right person... in ALL types of relationships,, prison/marriage/coworkers or otherwise.

Sadly I've been screwed so many times becaue I trusted everyone that I am mostly thinking that too. It takes a lot for me to trust anyone now.

Thats not entirely true. I have about 5-6 best friends, & I trust them with everything, but everyone else HELL NO!!! They'll just stab you in the back!!!

you would be a very lonely person if u did. If u have no trust u can not get close to someone. Don't do it, you will hurt yourself far worse than if u did if u trusted people.

If you follow this lie, you will not be a friend to anyone, and you will wind up being very lonely! Take a risk, and try being a friend, you might find one that will stick closer than a brother. You gotta be a friend to have a friend.

I think you have the right idea precisely. That's the way to live. Don't tell it to your friends, and certainly not to those closer. But you are on the right track..
