i let him visit his father and now he doesnt want to come home and he dosnt call me at all does he think i forgot about him why is he punishing me why am i hurting so much

have you tried calling him? if he's really young maybe his dad bribed him or tries to distract him with toys or presents so he won't call you. if he's little he's probably just more interested in toys and fun and stuff. it's ok.

Why not contact him and see what is going on? It could be he is just having too much fun right now and doesn't want all the fun to end, which could be why he doesn't want to come home. Have a heart to heart with your son or if possible, discuss the matter with your son's father.
I know you are hurting. I don't think what he is doing is intentional, but he is a soon-to-be man....they don't think that missing a phone call is a big deal.
Once you discuss the matter with your son I am sure you will feel a lot better and your heart won't be so heavy with hurt. Good luck to you.

It's normal to feel hurt if your son isn't even talking to you. The father might be bribing him with toys or sweets or something. Go over and talk to him, or call him on the phone. He might be staying there because he thinks you might of done something wrong or something he didn't like. Ask him questions and see if he'll tell you what's on his mind.

His dad might be completely showering him with attention and fun. I would call him, and insist that he comes back home. Maybe he likes it over there because his dad has no rules...which is not what children need.
They need consistency, routine, structure, and love and attention.
My brother in law has his 2 young girls about once every 3 months because he lives across the country. And when he has hthem ...there are no rules and he spoils them rotten. And they are just that rotten when he has them because they get everything and get away with everything. It's nuts.

How long has he been gone?You call and check on him if you want to.But why r u hurting?Get out and get some help don't expect your son to help you with your emotions...its not fair to him or you.
