Should I get a Nintendo DS Lite? Are there any bundles available for under $149.99? Do you think I should get one?What can you do with it?

thinner gear, ds is lighter and brighter than the old model...out with the old and in with the new!!!

The Nintendo DS Lite is 42% smaller in volume and 21% lighter than the original Nintendo DS. The layout of the controls has been adjusted, with the Start/Select buttons being moved below the ABXY buttons.
The stylus slides horizontally into the right side of the system, and the microphone has been moved to the hinge in the center of the system. The power button, located above the D-pad on the original DS, has been changed to a spring-loaded switch located on the right side of the system.
There are other changes, too
I think I would buy the Lite version..................

Well I have the DS lite and it's just smaller, you could play on the internet and you could probably get it cheaper from KB Toys or GameStop. Different colors that are imported cost about $210. It is so much fun.

Nintendo DS Lite is smaller, lighter, brighter, and easier to control. The microphone is more conveniently placed and so are the START and SELECT buttons.

It's a matter of telling the world whether you are a fat nerd or a skinny nerd. DS Lite is for skinny nerds.

Do you mean the original DS thing didn't have a light bulb in it?
Didn't they learn from the last screw-up on the GameBoy Advance that had no inner lighting?

the DS lite has a backlight so it can be viewed at night or in sunlight.

the ds lite is made of lighter material and the screen is supposedly brighter...doesnt really mater...both suck. dont get either...save ur money...jsut some friendly advice
