is ejaculating murder?

2006-07-09 16:34:53 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 1

That is a very deep question. I had two abortions when I was younger. I was not able to get over the guilt of it until I had two live births. So for me, it was psychological murder.

There is a movie called "The Silent Scream" that was made by a photographer that was very pro choice. He was able to record an abortion, part of which is in that movie. I didn't see the movie but I have been told that during the abortion, as the baby was being sucked up into pieces, the photographer recorded what looked like a baby screaming. That man is no longer pro choice. That filming changed his life. You can see the film yourself by going to this website: http://www.silentscream.org/

Maybe when you see that film you will get the answer to your question.

In my own case, I had the abortions because I was young and didn't feel like I could handle having a baby on my own. Looking back I really used the abortions as a form of birth control. I could have been a LOT more careful. After the second abortion my uterus was so scarred that I was told I would never have children. I miraculously bore two children.

Abortion clinics do not tell you how you will be affected by your CHOICE in the future, like maybe losing your ability to get pregnant in the future.

For years, until I was able to forgive myself, I got very sad around my babys' due dates. I felt guilty. My uterus got so messed up, however I was never told that my childbearing equipment could be damaged. Nor, at the time did they tell me that there were other options I could choose from. There are many organizations that help women have thaier babies or help them go through the process of giving a baby up for adoption. A woman considering an abortion needs to hear all their options.

So the question is more than Is Abortion Murder?

The question is: Can you live with the decision to end someone's life? I can tell you from experience it is hard to do.

I guess it all depends how you look at it and why. There are kids as young as 12 getting raped by fathers or brothers/uncles, would it then be murder. Crackheads getting pregnant because they are prostitutes and will never be clean, keeping the brain from ever developing fully. There are so many cases rather then just using it as birth control method. I think its worse that people have a kid need help, get that assistance, then have 5 more and the start a cycle with it,(and law doesn't try to in force its own rules with this) and everyone working pays for it.(and most of those kids grow to be broken due to there abusive environment) Besides even if it is made illegal there will just be more trash can incidences and people taking drastic measures. Its then that i would think it would be murder.

Short answer: no! Murder is defined as the intentional, unlawful killing of one human being by another human being.

In order for there to be muder, you have to have at least 2 human beings. And it's debatable whether a fetus, which cannot live outside the body of a human being, is a human being. If you say that a human being exists after an egg is fertilized, then when this fertilized egg passes from the body of a woman, that is murder. To me, this doesn't make sense.

Secondly, abortion is legal and for there to be murder, the act must be illegal. Murder is a legal term.

Of course it is....calling a baby a foetus does not change the fact that it is an unborn child....April G should know that young children are no more viable or independent than an unborn child...in fact there are adults of ripe age who are not viable OR independent....is a child not a being because it is not a teenager or an adult.....as for ejaculation, sex 101 should have taught LK'05 that there is no conception during ejaculation. Abortion is an irresponsible method of contraception brought in to legislation by the Baby Boomers. I am afraid that by their own doing, the younger generations will give a new meaning to retirement when it comes to the Boomers. Maybe they will be murdered because they are old and defenceless, but society will just call it "retirement"....do you see where I'm going with this?

Nope. Murder is the killing of a person. A fetus is not a person until it is viable (Able to live independently), and it is not viable in the first several months of it being there. Until it is viable, it is a parasite in every sense of the word. Now, some religions have difficulty with that, particulary christian religions, but other religions have no difficulty with that. The real crime is to foist a religious belief onto someone who does not follow a religion that has no difficulty with abortion. It has nothing to do with what these people call " Pro Life" --- everyone is pro life. It is that some prefer to be pro choice, and every woman should be able to control her own body.......

Miscarriage is not the same as deliberately having an abortion..do you know that when you abort the foetus lets out a scream!

Read your Bible and in God's law..it is a crime. So all of you who don't think it is..then you would not be here if your mother had.. once you plant a seed in the earth..and it starts to sprout..it is considered alive..same thing with a child..once it starts to grow at the first micro second..it is alive..therefore abortion is killing a life.

Politics wanting votes and peoples selfishness disobeying God's law and want to do their own thing, make it right..but it isn' t and never will be and God forbid if my mother had had an abortion, i would not be here to write to you and have been a mother myself...neither none of you would be here either. like it or not..you wouldnt be here even to complain.

Murder is a legal term primarily. So if you ask from legal view point, different countries have different laws governing if abortion will be considered under criminal acts like murder or not.

However if you take ethical/moral/humanity view on it, I believe that concieving a baby is a compete responsibility of individuals who are involved. Unless there are valid reasons (like saving mom's life, baby is medically defective and may not survive in this world etc), aborting the baby inside womb I would see as highly irresponsible act purely committed from selfish reasons of individual's convenience. Unfortunately in today's world its so simple to commit mistake of conceiving and aborting the baby, it has diluted the sense of shame and responsibility from it.

No not at all, folks don't understand that the spirit doesn't enter the body until the body leaves the womb, first breath. Now imagine a spirit who's is eternal sitting in a belly for 9 months not experiencing anything, does that really make sense? The body within is hooked up to the mothers system and survives off of her. We are not are bodies we are using these bodies for the pupose of having this human experience. The true self exists before and after the death of the body and always will.

Let's see, if the baby's head passes out of the birth canal and they kill the child they can be prosecuted for murder. But if the baby's head is still inside the mother then it is abortion. Murder is therefore any killing done outside a woman's vagina, right? Don't ask me what made that boundry line, it doesn't really make sense to me.
