oh yes - been there done that - your baby might have gas - if so you can try mylicon - it helped me out tremendously - I gave it to my son about 1/2 hour before feeding and it totally helped him out - there are alot of other reasons that this could be happening though - if the mylicon doesn't help I would definitely check with your pediatrician - because with my son it was a combination of gas and formula - he was on soy formula - but switched him off that and went to normal similac and the combination of the 2 worked for me - and trust me - it was the best ever to get him to eat a bottle without taking an hour to eat it!

She may need frequent burping.... gently pat her back after a minute or two of feeding and wait for a burp. Sometimes just rubbing the back will do instead of burping.
She could also have an allergy to the formula you are giving her. Perhaps you recently switched? You might need to try a soy -- but don't do anything without first consulting your doctor. S/he will have the best answers for you.
Remember, all babies are different and doctors expect mother's to have questions. Always ask.
There could be more indicators that we are unaware of. If you are concerned and there is someone you can call on for support, do so. This will ease your mind, and your calm nature helps soothe the baby.
It'll all work out -- it takes time to get to know your baby, and what kinds of foods she can eat. We're all new and very nervous at first being a new mom, it takes time and patience... you'll be giving advice like this one day too very soon!
best wishes!! and you're a very caring mom.. because you're asking questions to help your baby -- good for you!

I'm sorry I don't have a solution, but my three month old daughter is doing the same thing. She has always been on formula as I couldn't breastfeed (not everyone can and it's not the end of the world). I haven't changed brands or done anything different recently but she drinks a bit and then starts crying. I don't understand why. I've tried burping her but nothing seems to come up. She's normally very easy going and happy. I hope that we can find a solution and you are not alone!

She may have gas. My baby would only eat a small amount of formula at a time for a few months but eventually she ate more.

Talk to your doctor about it but you might need to try switching her formula to a different brand. My daughter had the same problem and in the end, we had to put her on goats milk. You can buy that in cans at most larger grocery stores. It stinks and is a bit pricy, but if it helps with feedings, it is worth it.

Mylicon is secure adequate to apply with each and each and every feeding. also attempt perhaps speaking on your peditrician because it would nicely be the formula causing the themes. from time to time they're lactose illiberal, or they favor the predigested formula truly that breaks down of their abdomen extra acceptable. My daughter had an excellent style of tummy themes and the formula that become damaged down become lots less difficult on her abdomen. carry her knees to damage chest to help relieve some soreness too.

She might be allergic to the formula you are feeding her, which could cause a tummy ache and other symptoms. Your best bet would be to get her to the doctor, as she needs to eat!

its probly colic/gas...or shes lactose n tolerant(cant handle milk)..
therefore try another formula..it isnt agreeing with her tummy or she doesnt like it period..i recommend Nestle goodstart DHA/ARA..its closest to moms breastmilk...
i went through Many MANY formulas within the first 4 weeks of my daughters life..(similac, similac low iron, similac lactose free, similac soy, similac alimentum, enfamil gentlease, enfamil...then finally Nestle goodstart)
also you can try Mylicon or little tummys to relieve gas pain..give her very little(first line on the dropper if that) or Baby Bliss Gripe water for a natural remedy..it helps tummys along with hiccups...and Hylands Colic Tablets also help colic symptoms/gas
now shes 1..and as healthy as can be!
